How to make a fair trade in Blox Fruits: win, fair or lose
Updated 2026-10-17
A step-by-step method for judging a Blox Fruits trade: add up both sides, weigh demand, handle overpays and split trades, and know when to walk away.
What a fair trade means
A fair trade is one where both players leave feeling they got what they wanted at a price they can defend. It does not mean the numbers are identical down to the last digit. It means the gap is small enough that neither player was taken advantage of. Players who trade fairly build a reputation, and a good reputation brings you better offers over time.
Step 1: Add up both sides
Look up the value of every item on both sides and add them. The trade calculator does the sum for you and tells you whether the deal is a win, fair or a loss for you. If one side contains several small items and the other a single big one, the sum is the quickest way to see how they compare.
Be careful with quantities. Three copies of a fruit are worth three times its value only if you can actually find buyers for all three, so apply a little common sense to the totals.
Step 2: Adjust for demand
Now compare demand. If you are giving a high-demand fruit and getting a low-demand fruit of the same value, you are taking on the risk of a slow resale, so you are entitled to ask for a little extra. In the opposite direction, expect to be asked for a small overpay. This is normal, and it is how experienced traders keep both sides satisfied.
Step 3: Use trend as a tie-breaker
When a deal is close, trend helps you choose. A rising item is likely to be worth more soon, so holding it is attractive; a falling item may lose value, so moving it now is attractive. Do not chase trends too hard, though. They show where the market has been leaning, not where it will land.
Splitting up a big deal
When one fruit is worth more than anything the other player has, the usual answer is to add several smaller items to make up the gap. Check that the sum of those items is close to the target and prefer items with good demand, since a pile of low-demand items is hard to resell. If a fair deal cannot be reached, a smaller trade you both want is better than a big one only one of you does.
Knowing when to walk away
If the numbers do not work, say so politely and offer a counter. If the other player will not move, leave. No single trade is worth losing your rare fruit or your patience. The best deals are the ones where, after the trade, you would happily do it again with the same player.
