Permanent vs regular fruits in Blox Fruits: what is the difference?

Updated 2026-10-17

Regular and permanent fruits are priced differently. Learn what each one is, why permanent versions have their own value and how to avoid the scams that target permanent fruit trades.

Regular fruits

A regular fruit is the version you find, buy from the dealer or receive in a trade. You eat it, use its powers and, when you eat another fruit, you replace it. Regular fruits can be stored and traded, and the regular value on the list is the one used for almost all everyday trades.

Permanent fruits

A permanent fruit is a separate, paid version of a fruit that keeps its powers on your account without being replaced each time you eat something else. Because it is bought with Robux and gives lasting access to a fruit, trading communities price it separately from the regular fruit.

That is why many items on the value list show two numbers: a regular value and a permanent value. The permanent value is usually higher, since the permanent version is both more convenient and more costly to obtain.

Which number should you use?

If a trade involves regular fruits, use the regular value. If someone is offering or asking for a permanent fruit, use the permanent value, and check that both players mean the same thing before you agree to anything. Mixing the two is one of the most common sources of misunderstandings: a player may offer "a Dragon" and mean the cheap version while you picture the permanent one.

Item pages on Blox Frutas Trades show both numbers side by side so you can see the gap and ask clear questions before the trade.

Be careful with permanent trades

Because permanent fruits are worth so much, they are the favorite target of scammers. Be especially strict here. Never give anyone access to your account, a password or a login code to "receive" or "transfer" a permanent fruit. No legitimate deal needs it. If a trade can only happen outside the normal in-game trade window, treat that as a warning sign and decline.

Take your time, ask questions and compare the offer with the values before you commit. If the other player gets annoyed by that, you have learned something useful about the deal.
